This is the altar area of the church of Quebracho, a community of the municipality of Reitoca, F.M., Honduras. The name of the church is Medalla de Milagros (Miraculous Medal).
Quebracho is a very lively community that loves to celebrate the Mass and other liturgies and para-liturgies. Whenever I go to that community for Mass, I know it will be a great treat. Not only do the adults participate well, but I can always count on little kids, dogs, and balloons to be around the altar before, during and after Mass. Needless to say, the community also loves firecrackers to celebrate having a Mass.
