Tomorrow, December 17, 2022, four young men will be ordained priests of the Archdiocese of Tegucigalpa in the magnificent Basilica of Our Lady of Suyapa in Suyapa, a suburb of Tegucigalpa.
In the photo above, we see Darwin Medina, a young man who grew up in the pueblo of Reitoca.
Joining Darwin in ordination to the priesthood will be Nelson Vásquez, Osman Laínez, and Jony Murillo. Cardinal Oscar Rodríguez, Archbishop of Tegucigalpa, will be the presiding bishop in the ordination Mass.
Darwin grew up in the pueblo of Reitoca, seat of our parish, San Francisco de Asís. His first Mass of Thanksgiving will be here in Reitoca on Monday, December 19. Needless to say, the whole town will be wild with joy! Food, drink, music, firecrackers, dancing, and who-knows-what will be going on that day!
