If you’ve been a faithful follower of MissionPriest.Com, you know that almost every week, I feature a “missionary hero,” a man or woman who made an important contribution to the missionary efforts of the Catholic Church.
Well, I’m delighted to say that I have taken these short biographies and put them into a book form. Each volume of Catholic Missionary Heroes will feature the men and women I wrote about during the past year.
Volume 1, for example, includes 35 biographies from the first year of the blog, 2020. Among the exciting people you can read about in this volume include Ms. Annalena Tonelli, the “mother Teresa of Somalia;” Fr. Bill Woods, a Texas cowboy for Jesus; St. Camillus de Lellis, a nurse-priest missionary; Sr. Carla Piette, a Maryknoller who gave her life for her friend; Blessed Carlo Acutis, the teenage Internet missionary; Ms. Jean Donovan, lay martyr of El Salvador; St. Maximillian Kolbe, the father who gave his life for a dad; St. Therese, the Little Flower; Servant of God Vincent Robert Capadanno, the “grant padre”; and many more inspirational men and women.
Catholic Missionary Heroes – Volume 1 is available on Amazon.com in both Kindle and paperback versions. To see all the books by Fr. Robert J. Kus, just go to Amazon.com; Books; Fr. Robert J. Kus, and you’ll be there! This book is also available in Spanish as: Héroes Misioneros Católicos – Volumen 1.
