IFTTT Autopost 
This is the church of El Porvenir, a community of Curarén. The name of the church is María Auxiliadora (Mary Help of Christians).
The first time I was at this church was on July 4, 2018, my second week of living in Honduras. Fr. Renán Carrillo López, who was a priest in the parish at the time, was showing me around some of the churches farthest from Reitoca.
On the day I visited El Porvenir, I also visited the churches of San José Portrero and Escalón.
Because this community was one of the first places I experienced as a new missionary priest, I’ll always have a special place in my heart for this delightful community.
