La Libertad is one of the five municipalities of our parish, and its church is named Our Lady of Mercedes.
In 2018-2019, the people of La Libertad did a major renovation project on the outside of the church. In addition to a beautiful paint job, they created a park-like area in front of the church where people can come and sit and enjoy visiting among a water fountain and greenery and little lamps.
The people of the community are always looking for ways to beatify their worship space.

The people of the community are so devout, and I enjoy these photos. They so clearly display their love of their Church and the effort they put forth to beautify it. It must be a joy to share these moments with such humble , loving people. Thanks for sharing.
