This is the church of Our Lady of Fatima in El Rodeo, a community of Reitoca, F.M., Honduras.
The first time I visited this church was in May of 2019 to celebrate Mass for the community on their patronal feast day – May 13.
Though the community is poor, the people of El Rodeo have a wonderful spirit and a solid work ethic. And, they are very gracious and welcoming to the priest and his driver.
Like all of the communities of our rural mountain parish, the church is the center of life for the people.
