Yesterday, Missionpriest.com celebrated its Second Anniversary. It has been a great pleasure creating blog posts for you and sharing the exciting parish of San Francisco de Asís with you. I hope you have been enjoying the photos of our far-flung mountain parish’s 87 churches.
In addition to my regular parish duties of celebrating Masses, Reconciliation, Weddings, Funerals, Baptisms, Confirmations, and Quinceañeras in our parish’s churches, I also do much writing. In fact, writing is my primary ministry.
Each year, since 2002, I have written and published a journal of the year. These journals reflect not only my daily life as a priest, but also some thoughts on the world around us.
Currently, in addition to writing the blog posts you read, I’m working on a series of books of Catholic Missionary Heroes. Each volume will be composed of the spruced-up entries that you have been reading every Friday in Missionpriest.com for a particular year.
Finally, I’m gathering data for a second volume of Saintly Men of Nursing. This will include saintly men who did nursing at least part of their lives.
When my new books come out, I’ll let you know via the website. The photo of this day is the cover of my 2020 journal: MissionPriest.com: Journal of a Missionary Priest – 2020. All of my books are available on Amazon.com. Some are in Spanish as well as English.
Thank you so much for following Missionpriest.com!
