In this photo, we see Eduardo Cantillano (adult on right) with his students. This photo was taken in July of 2019, and this is the total student body of the school. Eduardo is the sole adult in the school.
The man on the left with the white baseball hat is Joe Lakatos, a visitor from the United States. Joe is from the parish of the Basilica Shrine of St. Mary in Wilmington, North Carolina, the sister parish of our parish here in Honduras.
Eduardo, who lives in Reitoca, is also a graduate student studying in Nicaragua. He hopes one day to get his doctorate in education and be a university professor.
It was a great day! My time in Reitoca was amazing. Thanks Fr. Bob for your friendship. I admire all you have done and plan to do for the community there. -Joe Lakatos
