This is Walter García Bonilla, the teacher of Pueblo Nuevo, a community of Curarén.
Walter is the only teacher of this one-room school building, and he is responsible for teaching students from first through sixth grade.
Walter has to be incredibly organized and have plenty of energy to handle such great responsibilities! While visiting his classroom, it was easy to see how the students truly honor and love him! I’m sure a sense of humor and flexibility go a long way in making him a great asset to the students’ lives.
