Today, people in the United States of America (USA) celebrate Memorial Day. The purpose of this day is to commemorate and honor the memory of all those men and women who died while serving their country as part of the Armed Forces.
Where I come from, Cleveland, Ohio, people often called this day “Decoration Day,” for it was a day when many people visited cemeteries of their loved ones to decorate the graves with flowers.
