Today, we celebrate the feast of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ.
On this day, we read:
Jesus said to the Jewish crowd: “I am the living bread that came down from heaven; whoever eats this bread will live forever; and the bread that I will give is my flesh for the life of the world” (John 6: 51).
For over 2,000 years, Catholic Christians have treasured the gift that Jesus gave us – the gift of himself in the Blessed Sacrament.
If it is true that “we are what we eat,” how do we become more like Christ when we “take and eat?”
