On this feast of the Most Holy Trinity, we read some challenging words from St. Paul in a letter to the Corinthians. Though it was targeted specifically to them, the words are for all followers of Jesus. We read:
Finally, brothers, rejoice. Mend your ways, encourage one another, agree with one another, live in peace, and the God of love and peace will be with you. Greet one another with a holy kiss. All the holy ones greet you.
The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the holy Spirit be with all of you (2 Cor 13: 11-13).
Catholic Christians have had over 2,100 years to perfect Paul’s words. How are we doing?
