The above is a photo of the altar area of the Church of Espíritu Santo (Holy Spirit) in the Reitocan community of Samalares Abajo. The photo was taken before the Easter Vigil Mass began on Holy Saturday, March 30, 2024, as some of the ministers were preparing for Mass. In addition to the people of Samalares Abajo, five other Reitocan communities were invited to attend this special Mass: Agua Caliente; Guanijiquil; Marías del Norte; and Samalares Arriba.
