In our far-flung parish scattered over many mountain ranges, most of our communities are very isolated. In addition, most of the people our parish live in poverty and have no transportation.
Therefore, they are so very grateful for the pickup trucks that make their rounds to the communities of the parish selling food, furniture, and household items.
The photo above is from Lodo Negro, a community of Curarén. The pickup truck was in the town with bread, furniture, cups, pails, toys, paper products, and other items.
