IFTTT Autopost The Reitocan church of Espíritu Santo (Holy Spirit) in Samalares Abajo, has just been repainted.
The Samalares Abajo community is noted for its vibrant energy, excellent leadership, and beautiful music. Recently, the community painted its church and did some minor repairs.
Although the community of Samalares Abajo is not too far from the pueblo of Reitoca where I live, some months of the year it is inaccessible because the river that one must drive across is too deep and the currents are too strong.
The photo above shows the newly painted front of Espíritu Santo taken in December 2025, the second month of summer here in Honduras.
