Every December, the priests and other leaders of the parishes of the San Francisco de Asís Deanery get together for a meeting, luncheon, and gift exchange. Our deanery is composed of five parishes: Curarén, Lepaterique, Ojojona, Reitoca, and Sabanagrande. And unlike the United States, each parish is composed of several churches. For example, the parish of Reitoca has 41 churches, while the parish of Curarén has about 48 churches.
