This is the sanctuary of the new church in Los Amates, a community of Alubarén, F.M., Honduras. The name of the church is Divina Misericordia (Divine Mercy).
It was in this church that I celebrated my first wedding in Honduras, and I was privileged to celebrate the community’s feast day one year.
Looking on at the sanctuary is a Delegado de la Palabra of the community, Genri Medina on the right. (Genri is pronounced as “Henry”).
