This is the school of Manuel Bonilla near El Higuerito, a community of Reitoca, F.M., Honduras.
Manuel Bonilla was a general who served as President of Honduras from 1903-1907 and again from 1912-1913.
Like many rural schools in Honduras, this is a one-room schoolhouse where students from grades 1 through 6 attend classes together. On Wednesday, we will meet the teacher and students of this rural school.
