From September 1 through October 4, Feast of Saint Francis of Assisi, Catholic Christians join other Christians in celebrating the “Season of Creation,” a special time set aside for us to remember that God gave us our planet to take care of. We do this by caring for our air and water, plants and animals.
Here on the Holy Cross Campus where I live in Reitoca, F.M., Honduras, we are doing our part by planting new trees, bushes, and flowers and welcoming little animals in need of special attention.
In the photo above, we see Juan Cabrera, chief of the campus, working in the main garden of the campus.
