This is the altar area of the church in Manzanilla, a community of Curarén.
The Manzanilla community is an incredibly vibrant one. Whenever I go to this community to celebrate Mass, I know that I’ll be greeted with lively music and a warm welcome. The band loves to play peppy music before the Mass to get the people “warmed up” for the Eucharistic celebration.
This community, like all our parish communities, has a very young congregation.
