This is the church of El Ocote, a community of Curarén, F.M., Honduras. The name of the church is the Virgin of the Miraculous Medal.
I first encountered this community on September 6, 2018, my sixth week living in Honduras. I went with Danilo who was my newly-hired driver. Because he is a Delegado de la Palabra from Lodo Negro, he knew the area well.
The people of this community are very welcoming and filled with a great spirit.
