This is the sanctuary of the Church of San Antonio de Padua in the Reitocan community of Tabanco, high in a mountain pine forest.
The community is led by a strong Delegada de la Palabra, Andrea Argentina Lagos, aunt of our parish’s pastor, Fr. Carlos Lagos. When it’s time for Mass, Andrea beats a wheel rim to alert the people that it is time to come to church.
