This is the sanctuary of the church of Asunción (Assumption) in La Laguna, a community of Curarén, F.M., Honduras.
In the photo above, we see Fr. Renán Carrillo López preparing the altar for Mass. Fr. Renán was a priest of the parish before he left to study philosophy in Mexico City. He has finished his studies and is now teaching in the seminary in Tegucigalpa.
One of the most notable features of this church is the mural of the Divine Mercy painted behind the altar.
