Holy Cross Campus sits on the side of a mountain overlooking the pueblo of Reitoca, F.M., Honduras.
Because of its location, at times there has been danger of land falling down the mountainside onto structures such as my house, visitors’ cabins, or gardens, we need to build retaining walls.
In the photo above, we see Isaí Pérez Rodas on the left, and Juan Cabrera on the right, building such a wall to keep the mountain earth away from the main garden area. Both Isaí and Juan are full-time employees of the Holy Cross campus.
