Many of the people of our parish cook with wood stoves, often made from clay. These are very handy when the electricity goes out and one can’t use an electric stove. Unfortunately, in our parish, the electricity goes out with regular frequency, sometimes for several days.
In this photo, we see Luis José gathering firewood for his home. At the time of this photo, Luis José was 80-years old.
