In this photo, we see some of the men of Usuyca, Curarén, sitting outside of their church, Santísima Trinidad, waiting for Mass to begin.
Men, especially young men, love to sit outside under trees or in front of their churches before and after Masses. Likewise, boys love to stand outside the church and watch the Mass by looking in the windows.
This phenomenon is not unique to Usuyca; it’s found in pretty much every one of our parish’s churches.
