This is photo of the new plaza that the Reitocan community of Santa Cruz has constructed with the help from a grant from the Red Lantern Foundation. The foundation was established by Father Bob to assist poor, small Catholic churches with little projects for their churches.
Some of the projects that the Red Lantern Foundation have founded include buying tiles for flooring, windows and doors, musical instruments, and the like. The Foundation has also helped with repairing roofs on church buildings and buying building supplies such as cement, lumber, cement blocks, and bricks.
The community of Santa Cruz is very grateful for the help of the Foundation.
