Today, Catholic Christians celebrate Care for Creation Day, the first day of the annual celebration named “Season of Creation” that goes from September 1 through October 4 each year.
During this time, we called to remember that God gave human beings this planet to take care of it as good stewards. We need to do what we can to ensure that living beings have good water and air and food to live and thrive.
Fortunately, millions of people around the world have taken God’s command seriously and are doing all they can to ensure this and future generations will have a clean planet on which to live.
On the Holy Cross Campus where I live in Reitoca, F.M., Honduras, we do our part to ensure that the land, air and water are well taken care of. The flower in today’s photo is from one of the gardens that grace our campus.
