All Hallows’ Eve

Today is the feast of All Hallows’ Eve.  “Hallows” refers to “saints,” and “Eve,” of course, refers to the day before a feast.

Tomorrow, November 1, is the feast of All Saints’ Day, a day when we remember all the people in heaven.  And because Catholic Christians believe that with God all things are possible, we pray that God will bring all people to heaven, and by “all,” we mean “all.”
