Today, Catholic Christians celebrate the feast of All Souls’ Day. On this day, we remember those who have died. We also ask God to eternal salvation to all people, for in the Catholic vision, God’s love and mercy have no limits.
In Honduras, on the feast of All Souls’ Day, people bring flowers to the cemetery to decorate the graves of loved ones. In the photo above, we see the entrance to the cemetery in the pueblo of Reitoca, F.M., Honduras. Reitoca is the seat of our parish, San Francisco de Asís, which covers 250-square miles and has 89 churches of the parish.
