This is the church in Guadalupe, a community of Reitoca. As one would expect, the patron saint of the church is Our Lady of Guadalupe, patron saint of all the Americas.
Unlike many of the churches of our parish, this church is sufficiently large enough to hold the community. The people of this aldea (village) have a wonderful celebration and procession on their feast day (December 12), and they share resources readily with other mountain communities in the area.
This community has wonderful breezes, so it is much cooler than the pueblo of Reitoca.
