Today is Veterans Day, an American holiday set aside to honor all people who have served the United States of America in a branch of the military – Army, Air Force, Coast Guard, Navy, Marines, and the newest branch of the military, the Space Force. In wartime, the Merchant Marines serve as part of the Navy. Unlike Memorial Day, that honors those who lost their lives while serving in the military, Veterans Day honors all people who have served in the U.S. military. Happy Veterans Day to all veterans!
