This is the Church of San Antonio de Padua in the Reitocan community of Tabanco, high in the mountains.
Unlike the pueblo of Reitoca where it is always hot, Tabanco has a very different climate with cooler temperature. Pine trees, which cannot grow in Reitoca because of the heat, grow abundantly in Tabanco.
Our parish’s pastor, Fr. Carlos Lagos, is from this community.
